We're Still Here!

Ok, so I stink at blogging! It IS a/c season and has been over 100 degrees more often than not, but I really didn't mean to not blog ALL Summer! We have been super busy this summer & truly enjoyed every minute!

Baby boy isn't such a baby anymore. He's 14 months old and loves: his black truck (that stays inside), oinking like a pig & roaring like a dinosaur, laughing & even more so-making others laugh, MUSIC!, dancing (he's got great moves), green beans, apple juice slushes, drinking from straws, his belly button, his very own rocking chair, chicken adobo, chicken and rice, playing on the Iphone (he knows how to turn it on and everything), looking at pictures, coloring with JUMBO Crayolas, reading books... He's practically running everywhere. He's 23 lbs, and in the 90th percentile for height. He wears size 4 Huggies-Little Movers. The most exciting thing in his life at the moment is that he gets to go to Mother's Day Out at our church in 2 weeks! We have purchased his school supplies and we're good to go!

Dustie has had a fun time this summer-getting MORE guns than one could know what to do with. He and his Dad and brother went on a fun weekend trip to Dallas to tour the Cowboy Stadium & feast on beast at Texas de Brazil. We're just coming out of Shark Week (pics to come) & he finally got the humongo TV he's been wanting. Right now he's looking into Thanksgiving Day Game (Cowboys vs. Saints) tickets for us.

Church life is great. School is back in session so everyone is back in town & our church sanctuary is FULL. Everyone is excited for this new school year and we can't wait to see what God has in store for our church family.

I've been really busy at work, but also with starting my little side business. People actually want to pay me to plan parties or make gifts for them! It's something I do for fun anyway, so it's really a blessing. I'm knee deep in back-to-school teacher / class gifts, have 2 birthdays I'm in the middle of styling & I'm starting to put ideas together for Halloween fun!

The Dunns are always having fun!

  1. You ought to post prices for your party stuff? I guess how you charge? Just curious.
