Life is Precious

Not too much out of the ordinary going on right now...just a little bloggy update. I've actually had a moment today to sit and think about life and how blessed we are. We have TONS going on in our church at the moment and we're really enjoying getting to see the Lord work. Probably the biggest thing right now is preparation for building an addition of some sort to our church. We had a "Vision Casting" meeting with the whole church last night & our "Arise and Build" committee just took notes and listened to what God has shared with the congregation. What an uplifting meeting! So many new ministry much God-inspired excitement-I can't wait to see what God is going to do in our church.

I'm just loving life right now. Lately we Dunns have just really been enjoying family time.

Jax is all over the place now. (He still isn't crawling conventionally, but he sure can get around!) He's crawling backwards (lol) but he's pulling up on everything and getting into everything possible. He keeps us super busy. He's at such an exciting age right now-it's like he does something new everyday. One thing he loves to do is clap. It truly makes my heart happy when we're driving in the car and he's clapping to whatever is on KLove at the moment. (Daddy doesn't think it's so exciting when we clap for the Saints to win though! :)) He is precious and wonderful and a booger bear and truly my pride and joy.

Dustie is my other precious blessing. We've been able to spend a lot of time together lately (lots of "date-nights" and fellowship with other couple friends). I love him so much for the spiritual leader he is, the help mate he is, the awesome dad he is to Jax. I'm quite thankful for him.

My prayer group started back up a couple of weeks ago and that is soooo good for my soul. I love the ladies I get to pray with and who intercede for just makes this Christian journey even more sweet. We're getting so much Bible Study from church right now (Wed. nights and Followology especially). I just started Beth Moore's Bible Study-To Live is Christ. I love that my God can continually reveal Himself to me in so many new ways.

I love that I can get so much enjoyment out of my everyday life.

"...I came so that they may have life, and have it abundantly." John 10:10b

Happy Christmas

What a wonderful Christmas we had! We attended so many exciting events (lets just say we took over 400 pictures)! My favorite part was that it was Jax's first Christmas. There is nothing like experiencing Christmas through the eyes of our baby. My eyes were opened to the gospel in a brand new way. I love Christmas. I love celebrating the birth of my Savior. I love my family. I love my church. I am blessed beyond belief!

Here are some selections from the 400+ pics:

"Master" Dustie

So of all the fun pics we took during the trip to New Orleans for Graduation...we have no actual graduation pictures. (We did order some professional ones from the photographer there-a diploma pic and a family pic so as soon as we get those I will post them.) Here are a bunch of pics of our super fun trip!

In the hotel lobby...Jax finding lots of fun toys...& Chris and Lauren enjoying an iced coffee!

Fun @ Cafe du Monde... Jax talking to the camera and having an awesome time! :)

Strollin the French Quarter...partying in the room and lovin on Uncle.

What a wonderful trip! What wonderful memories! Oh, and Congrats to Dustie!

Jax's Half Birthday! this week life has just now gotten back to "normal" for the Dunns. We have been going non-stop pretty much since Halloween. Being in the ministry life can get pretty crazy when you have a Christmas party to go to for every Sunday School class, church group & committee :). This year Dustie and I decided early on to make it a point to thoroughly enjoy every single event. We have been so blessed with an amazing church family. We love spending time with them and getting to do life together.

Jax turned 6 months old on December 10th...also Daddy's 27th birthday! We had a wonderful time celebrating it while we were in New Orleans for Dustie's graduation.

Jaxaroo's 6 month old super fun birthday party!

Party Time!

Yummy! (too bad Jax doesn't get any!)

Rockin his half birthday!

Who wants cake?!

This little monster partied sooo hard!
