Senior Camp 2014 Lake Tiak O'Khata

We had a super fun time at Senior Camp earlier this week!

We've heard about the greatness of Lake Tiak O'Khata, but never got to experience it until this week.

D was the preacher/teacher for the camp, so the boys & I didn't want to miss the fun!

Bro. Wendell spoiled us so much this week-from making sure our accommodations were more than good (hello room with three beds), running to Walmart to get milk for John, taking the boys to feed the fish, letting them have special bus rides, & so much more!

This is where the magic happens. :) Seriously. This camp knows home cooking!

The boys had many fun things to keep them entertained...Connect Four...

Checkers...

Throwing pennies into the wishing well...

The boys loved game time w/ our church friends.
They were spoiled rotten the entire time!

The little boys weren't the only ones who had fun.

Super fun fish feeding! This was the boys' favorite part.

Besides the good food that is. ;)

Day 2-we got to do it all over again!

A little Father Abraham action!

The boys during worship.

After worship.

During game time.

Super nap time for John!

More fish feeding!

& alligator riding.

& bus riding!

& more fish feeding! Oh how fun!

The last night, we did a talent show: PHBC's Got Talent.

The boys had a few talents they wanted to share.

& lots of senior adults shared talents. We loved it so much!

After, late night ice cream for all!
(I was sure to take a picture of D serving ice cream b/c scooping ice cream is one of his least favorite things to do.)

Two happy boys.

One last meal at the grand Lake TOK!

By the time we pulled out on Wednesday, they were DUNZO. All played out! (We kinda all were.)

Fellowship, fun, food, & nap time. This was the camp for us! ;)
We had the greatest time!! We can't wait to go next year!!

Squeezing It All In!

We've been doing our best to squeeze as much fun as we can into our last few weeks of Summer!

This post is a picture-dump of the fun things we've done the past few weeks.

We strategically planned a trip to Branson with my Mom & Mammaw while Dustie went on a Mission Trip to Vermont with a group from our church family. This is the Mission trip group the day before Dustie & Blake arrived.

John living it up in Branson! A meal he actually ate!

It can be tough being the only guys on a girl trip. Lots of waiting during shopping, lots of potty breaks... These boys are gonna make good husbands one day.

Too much fun at Steak n Shake!

We went for a lunch cruise on the Showboat Branson.

John really enjoyed the show. He clapped the whole time.

The boys got new pajamas from the Disney Store. Darth Vader & the Incredible Hulk.

Lots of smiles!

We found Santa! & we decided his Summer clothes are silly looking!

Steak n Shake part 2. The boys' fave.

One of the Transformers was at Ripley's so, of course, we had to stop & take our picture with it.

When Daddy got home, he came bearing gifts! A sword Jax has been wanting for a year, & a cape & mask for John. (This is where his obsession began.)

Lots of cuddling.

Happy to be back with Daddy.

I got to squeeze in a fun one day shopping trip with some precious friends!

& we got to eat GIRL food! Something, we don't get to do with our hubbies.

Our damage.

Jax loving on JanJan.

We've had the best time going out with church family on Sunday nights!

We have squeezed in a few play days with friends.

Super fun battles.

Dress up adventures!

We've had skinned knees. (that we were quite proud of)

Panther Pride Sunday!

Crafts, back-to-school shopping, & puzzles!

We have had a wonderful Summer!

Dust & Jen Plus Ten!!

Ok, so we're not quite on number ten, but we're well on our way! We are expecting Dunn Baby #3 in February 2015!
All the deets:
Yes, we were trying for baby #3, but I was not expecting it to happen so quickly. We tried to get pregnant with John for a year, so I thought it would take a little while at the least.
This pregnancy has been super different so far. I was only sick for a few days of one week. My biggest clue as to something going on with me was my sudden tiredness. For a few weeks there I wanted to take a nap every day & that was unlike me. So, a few weeks ago I took a home test & it quickly said, "Pregnant."
I had to find a doctor here in Hattiesburg & call them to make an appointment. I had to plan it around our Branson trip. So, by the time I see the OB, they give me an ultrasound & tell me that I'm 12 weeks!! We were shocked to be that far along, but I was super excited b/c I was almost out of the first trimester!
I'm 14 weeks this week & other than being more tired than normal, I'm feeling great!

Poor bloggy has been neglected lately. I have a couple of catch-up posts to do. We squeezed in a Branson trip before school started for Mimi & have been running around non-stop since then. We are getting the boys ready to go to their new Preschool here in Petal & next week we will be joining our Senior Adults on their retreat!

More to come soon!

Love y'all!
